1. Who is responsible
Vedvu develops Pithoo, a single-player seven-stones game for iPhone and iPad. In this policy, “we” and “our” mean Vedvu. Contact [email protected] about this policy or your data. This policy describes Pithoo’s current local-play version, including its advertising and optional Remove Ads purchase. It does not describe Storage Cleaner or future apps.
2. Information stored on your device
Pithoo saves match totals, wins, captain appearance, selected ground, audio preferences, and ad-frequency information locally using the operating system’s app storage. We do not upload these game records to a Vedvu server. There is no Vedvu game account or developer-operated cloud save service.
The game does not request access to your contacts, photo library, microphone, camera, or precise device location. Google may infer a general location from network information as described below.
3. Advertising and Google
The ad-supported iOS version integrates Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) and Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP). Ads may appear between completed matches. Development builds use test ads.
Depending on the SDK, consent, and device settings, Google may process IP addresses (including inferred general location), app/device identifiers, ad views and interactions, other app interactions, crash reports, and performance diagnostics. This supports ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and SDK reliability. See Google’s SDK data disclosures.
Pithoo requests non-personalized ads and disables Google’s publisher first-party ID. This version does not request App Tracking Transparency authorization or opt in to IDFA access. These settings do not mean that Google receives no data. The Mac preview does not include the iOS advertising SDKs.
Google handles data under its Privacy Policy and information about partner apps. We do not operate our own advertising database or sell your saved game record.
4. Your advertising choices
Where applicable, Google’s consent message presents privacy choices before ads can be requested. To revisit available choices, open Remove Ads → Privacy choices in Pithoo. This option appears when Google indicates that a privacy-options entry point is required. Choices depend on your region and the applicable message.
You can withdraw or change consent through that control where available. Changes apply to future processing and do not automatically erase previously processed information. If the control is unavailable or you need help, contact [email protected]. The optional Remove Ads purchase disables future ad requests once the entitlement is verified.
5. Purchases through Apple
Apple processes the optional one-time Remove Ads purchase. Pithoo reads verified StoreKit transaction and entitlement information to recognize ownership, restore purchases, and handle refunds or revocations. We do not receive your payment card details and do not upload your purchase entitlement to a Vedvu server.
Apple’s handling of purchase and account information is described in Apple’s privacy information. Removing ads does not erase information previously processed by an advertising provider.
6. Support messages
If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to respond, investigate the issue, and handle privacy requests. We use Google Workspace to receive, send, and store support correspondence. Google processes that correspondence under its applicable service terms and privacy protections. Please avoid sending passwords, payment card details, or unnecessary personal information.
We retain support correspondence while needed to resolve your request and related follow-up, or where required for legal or security reasons. You may ask us to delete correspondence by contacting [email protected].
7. Retention, deletion, and backups
Local game data remains on your device until it is removed by you or the operating system. Deleting the app normally removes its local app data; offloading the app may retain it. Device or cloud backups may contain copies, and restoring a backup may restore those records. Manage backups through Apple’s device and account settings.
We cannot remotely access or delete local game records. There is no Pithoo account to delete. Deleting the game does not cancel Apple purchase ownership. Google and Apple apply their own retention rules to data they hold; use their privacy controls or contact them for deletion requests. We cannot promise to erase records held independently by those providers.
8. Your rights and international processing
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, restrict or object to its use, or withdraw consent. Contact [email protected] to make a request about information we hold. We may need enough information to verify and understand your request. You may also have the right to contact your local data protection authority.
Where applicable, we use information as needed to provide the game and requested support, maintain security and reliability, meet legal obligations, and obtain consent where required for advertising-related processing. Google, Apple, and email providers may process information in countries outside your own under their applicable terms and safeguards.
9. General audience
Pithoo is intended for a general audience and is not designed specifically for children or offered as a Kids Category app. Its store age rating describes content suitability; it does not provide parental consent for advertising. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact [email protected] so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
10. Updates and contact
We will update this page when the app’s data practices change and revise the date above. Where required, material changes will be accompanied by additional notice or renewed consent. For questions, requests, or concerns, contact Vedvu at [email protected].
For data processed when visiting this website, see Website privacy. For help with the game, see Pithoo support.
